One aspect I really enjoy about working as a brand builder is helping at the beginning stages of a start-up.
Ricci Harbuck is an entrepreneur that ran a successful travel company called Wet Feet Dry Feet Travel that sadly has been paused because of the global pandemic. After trying to figure out where to go from there she pivoted straight into Apple Butter.
What is Apple Butter you ask? Apple Butter is scrumptiously delicious.
An American favourite, Apple Butter is a smooth, velvety spread made from slow-cooked New Zealand apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
Ricci and I had a tasty design meeting to help me gather the information I needed to create the label for her Food Hugger Gourmet brand. I was lucky to sample how the Apple Butter paired delicately with meats, was equally at home on a piece of toast, or in a warming bowl of porridge.
I personally have been using it as part of my cheese boards on crackers and added as a sauce to all meats.
So yummy and my kids love the taste of it.
